These sticks are wonderful for younger kids playing 8u hockey. I recommend them to all of the parents on the team so they are not coming out of pocket and spending $200 on a stick their child will outgrow before the end of the season. The AB92 stick blade provides a plenty of curve to teach basics on and the kids can progress their skills on. Parents can affordably buy 3-4 for the price of 1 of the name brand sticks. I tell them to cut one down and save the other as their kids will grow through the season. I have yet to have a kid break one of these as well. Also, my son uses one on the asphalt and it has held up for two years so far of constant abuse. I would highly recommend this stick as several of our travel kids are using them.
